“Daily 30 KM cycling using Solar Energy Operated Cycle”

Roshan Chumbalkars experiment to save time and fuel with reduction in air pollution !

Roshan Chumbalkar, a Pune based student introduced a cycle which operates on solar energy. Roshan has used solar panels on his cycle and daily rides around 25-30 kms on this cycle. Similar to a motorcycle he has used accelerator system in this project.

Solar energy is converted into electrical energy and is stored in batteries installed on this cycle. This stored energy helps run the cycle like a motor vehicle thus helps in reducing time & fuel and air pollution.
Roshan, a mechanical engineering student of RMD Sinhagad School of Engineering took 2 years to complete this project and has named it as SOLAR POWER ELECTRIC CYCLE.
